I have been working on my poster for my Philyra promotion. It has turned out really well, I wasnt sure at first but I really like it now. Here it is:

I think it looks really professional and attracts the eye to valid
customers that will walk past shop windows and see the poster.

The colour theme i was going for was more popular than my other suggestions and I think it really brings out the beauty side of perfume and makes it look gentle and expensive, even if it is only £25!

I really enjoyed making my poster as I like learning new Photoshop skills every time I make something in Adobe Photoshop.

Today, I have been working on sheets and work that I have needed to catch up on, I have created a mood board on similar products that are like MY product.
I am also printing this and my other mood board off that I did earlier in the year.
On wednesday I was working on my Philyra products which is my promotional poster and my logo.
I have now finished them and will be working on  my t-shirt design next week.

Yesterday, I did a pitch/presentation on my product/packaging that I have been creating.
I felt like the pitch went well, I included all the points I wanted to get across. I felt more confident than I did when we did a presentation last year.
I brought my points across in more detail than I intended too and was happy with all the points and how the presentation went!
Next time I need to include subject terminology which I did not do and spend abit more time talking, which does not generally happen as I am a good speaker.

Over the past few weeks, I have been researching into different packaging and learning more and more about packaging.
I will be making my own packaging for a product I have thought about on my own and also I have designed my own company for my product to belong to.
I have produced my company and my packaging for my product and two other selling packaging.
My idea:
Name/Company- Philera
What it is- A perfume company
Three selling packaging products-Perfume Box
                                                      Promotional Poster
                                                      Promotional Staff T-Shirt
 Why?- I feel every woman deserves a unique perfume for herself.

My Infographic.
Over the past week, I have been working on an infographic I personally, was set to create. Before we were in groups to do this, then we were set to do our own.
We had to base our infographic on a few techniques, those including:


Hand Techniques: Etching, Linocut, Screen print, Wooduct and Lithography


Mechanical Techniques: Letterpress, Gravure and Screen Process


Digital Techniques: Photocopying, Laser Printing, Inkjet Printing, Desktop Publishing (DTP) and Digital Screen Printing.


I had to add detail about each one of these techniques and put them into a little paragraph so its easy to read and understandable to the audience. I also wanted to make it look funky and edgy and not boring to read, so that what i did :-)
I really enjoyed this task, I learnt all those techniques and also helped improve my Photoshop skills!

This week I have been learning and researching about Inforgraphics.

I was split into a group of 5, There were three groups all together, each group had to research into Infographics and also learn and make our own inforgraphic on a different subject.

It was quite interesting learning about a new subject that I had no idea about before.
Our group did Market Research,
group 2 did Production Research
and group 3 did Audience Research
After we had finished our inforgraphic, we had to tell the rest of the groups what we did, why we did it, and how we did it, and also explain what was on our infographic.

Now that I have done one with a group, I am set to do one by myself next week, I do not know what we will be doing it about yet but I'm sure I will enjoy it.

I have now finished my research techniques. I found this very difficult because as I was researching the techniques, there were words that I did not fully understand which made it harder for me to get the information.
I feel confident that I now know about the techniques and can now go onto doing more work on these research techniques.
